The basic app is free and works fully with IrelandTV. TiviMate also offers an optional Premium upgrade (paid to its developer) that unlocks extras like multiple playlists, recording, catch-up and favourites management — nice to have, not required.

TiviMate is TV-only by design — it doesn't run on phones, iPhones or Samsung/LG native systems. On a Samsung or LG TV, choose IBO Player or Smart IPTV instead.

Do I need TiviMate Premium for IrelandTV?
No. IrelandTV works fully with the free version. Premium (paid to TiviMate's developer) adds conveniences like multiple playlists, recording, catch-up and favourites management — entirely optional.
Will the trial show me the full TiviMate experience?
Yes — your 24-hour trial behaves exactly like a paid subscription, including the full programme guide, so you can judge the real thing on your own TV.
Can I use TiviMate on my phone?
TiviMate is designed for televisions only. For phones and tablets, use IPTV Smarters Pro with the same IrelandTV details.
Is it hard to set up for a non-techie?
Honestly, it's a little more "settings-y" than Smarters, but our welcome email includes a plain-English walkthrough with every tap listed — it takes about ten minutes to work through, and support is one email away if you get stuck.
