Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data IrelandTV ("we", "us") collects through irelandtv.site, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible for your data
IrelandTV, 13 Frederick Street North, Dublin, D01 AW02, Ireland, operates this website and is the data controller for the personal data collected through it. For anything privacy-related, contact support@irelandtv.site.
2. What we collect and why
Trial and subscription requests
When you request a trial or subscription we collect: your name, email address, phone number (only if you choose to give it), your chosen player, device and plan, and any message you include. We use this to set up your trial or subscription, send you setup instructions, and respond to you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Contact form
Name, email address and your message — used solely to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Technical and marketing attribution data
When you arrive from an advertisement or search result, we record which campaign or link brought you here (UTM parameters and ad click identifiers such as GCLID), together with the page you landed on. This tells us which advertising works and is stored with your request if you submit one. Legal basis: legitimate interest in measuring our marketing (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Analytics
With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics runs only if you choose "Allow" in the cookie banner, and you can decline with equal ease. See the cookie policy.
3. Where your data lives
Form submissions are stored in a private, access-controlled database hosted in the European Union (Supabase). The database is not publicly readable. Notification emails containing your request details are delivered to our support mailbox. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data, ever. We share it only with the service providers who make the website work — our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our database provider (Supabase, EU region) and our email delivery provider — each acting under contract as a processor. If you consent to analytics, usage data is processed by Google as described in the cookie policy.
5. How long we keep it
Trial and subscription requests are kept while your enquiry or service is active, and for up to 24 months after our last contact so we can handle follow-up questions, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
6. Your rights
- Access — ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
- Restriction and objection — ask us to limit or stop certain processing.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — for analytics, at any time via the cookie policy page.
To exercise any of these, email support@irelandtv.site. We respond within one month, as GDPR requires. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be flagged clearly on the site.
